Construction firm EllisDon Corporation is testing out innovations to cut waste, use low-carbon concrete and accurately measure its reductions at the second phase of a major redevelopment of the Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, B.C.
EllisDon will be taking a step to tackle the climate-warming emissions created on its construction sites by deploying its first hybrid generator in Ottawa.
