Sustainability manager, Softchoice

Anureet Kaur is a Toronto-based sustainability professional, climate policy researcher, public speaker, writer and professor. Working at the intersection of technology and sustainability, Anureet is the first appointed sustainability manager at Softchoice. Her role entails developing the organization's sustainability strategy and roadmap and providing advisory on ESG reporting frameworks and disclosures. She is a board member of TakingITGlobal, which empowers youth to act on local and global challenges. Anureet is also a professor at Seneca Polytechnic, where she teaches the social pillar of ESG in the Executive Certificate Program and was invited to teach social impact at the University of Toronto. She designs progressive courses related to climate justice, mental health and well-being, the future of work, and DEI. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Sustainability Management from the University of Toronto and is the recipient of the University of Toronto Mississauga's Institute for Management and Innovation 2023 Alumni Award.
