Houston-based Vema Hydrogen is joining forces with Montreal-headquartered SAF+ International Group to potentially produce low-carbon sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) using natural hydrogen sourced from Quebec’s rocks. Vema plans to extract the element in Thetford Mines, south of Quebec City.
