Mangrove Lithium closes latest investment round

Mangrove Lithium, a producer of battery-grade lithium hydroxide and carbonate, has recently closed a new investment round led by BMW i Ventures (BIV) and Breakthrough Energy Ventures (BEV).

Posco Chemical Company, a unit of the South Korean steel and chemicals group Posco, has announced it will build a US$327-million electric vehicle battery cathode plant in Quebec, in partnership with U.S. automaker General Motors Company.
