Enerkem Inc. has partnered with Leiden, Netherlands-based Dimeta to initiate feasibility studies for the development of two large scale projects to convert waste into renewable and recycled carbon dimethyl ether (DME), a clean-burning fuel for use in numerous applications.
Calgary-based Carbon Upcycling Technologies Inc. has closed an approximately $34.3 million Series A funding round, which will support the first fully commercial-scale carbon capture and use deployments in Europe and North America.
