Canadian startups ReturnBear, Suppli and Reusables.com have announced partnerships to expand the scope of their reusable packaging offerings in parcel and food deliveries. The startups seek to tackle the problem of single-use packaging waste and promote a more circular economy.
Polystyvert Inc. is constructing a recycling facility in Greater Montreal, part of its plan to foster a circular economy for polystyrene, a particularly difficult-to-recycle plastic. The Montreal startup has developed a checmical-based alternative to mechanically recycling polystyrene.
